​Urban Pores Documentation, 2026 (Urban Streams Residency, Berlin) 

Urban Pores was a collective walking and listening session through Plänterwald and onward to the River Spree, developed as part of the Urban Streams residency with British Council and Spreepark Art Space. The walk brought together participants to move through forest paths, construction site edges, and riverbanks, attending closely to the sonic textures of the site. Across the journey, participants listened, recorded, and shared observations, contributing to an archive of field recordings

Part of a project to explore ideas of urban water and porosity, the built and natural environment, and how materials, environments, and bodies absorb, hold and release. This thinking extends through the walk as a collective listening practice, where attention itself becomes a method of mapping place. The recordings gathered during the session formed part of the final installation soundscape, composed by BenK, and were integrated into sculptural forms developed during the residency. These works, incorporating locally sourced waste oyster shells, accumulated traces of both place and participation, allowing the installation to carry the acoustic imprint of the river, forest, and those who moved through them
