Rugged Terrain
reclaimed/reworked building debris: steel, plaster, concrete, glass, timber, found prints, ctype prints, 3D prints
THE KOPPEL PROJECT 2020
Artist-in-residence site-responsive installation at The Koppel Project Campus.
Over three months as the building was being part-demolished the artist gathered and reworked the discarded architectural components and other salvaged materials to create a body of work using reductive geometric forms, considerations of surface, spatial relations, and seminal materials of industry, to examine a machine made modernity, urbanity, notions of debris, and unceasing cycles of destruction/renewal
